About

The Laurel Jewelry Design collection uses 14 karat gold and sterling silver wire and chain in a wrapping technique that highlights the color and facets of precious and semi-precious gems and the luster of freshwater pearls. I'm drawn to the peaceful ocean hues of aquamarine, the glow of sapphire and the soft watermelon tones of tourmaline. A delicate chain of seed pearls and blue topaz makes a subtle statement, while a rainbow-hued combination of semi-precious stones is a celebration of color and sparkle.

I began making jewelry at 11 years old, and fashion and jewelry design have remained passions of mine through the years and during my career in journalism and law. My work has sold at trunk shows and at boutiques in San Francisco and my 14 karat gold collection is currently available at Alix & Company Fine Jewelers in Mill Valley, California.

After spending time on the East Coast, I now live in my beautiful hometown of Mill Valley with my husband, 5-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter, who loves creating her own jewelry alongside me as I work.
